about me

i am not sure how to answer the 'where are you from' question. the best i can offer turns into a dramatic monologue that starts with a frown, details the birthplace of my grandparents (germany, holland, ireland and poland), skims over my parents being born in england, recounts my story beginning in guernsey, childhood in england and adulthood in scotland and ends with an explanation that i now reside in hong kong with the clause that cities arent really for me.  30+ years has taught me that hills are home.

i'm not too sure what else it is people want to know. i am the middle child of three, a pisces and an avid fan of socks and sandals. and i love reading.
